HEY THERE! I'm Michelle, a portrait photographer, based out of Oahu, Hawai'i. I currently reside in Wai'anae with my other half, Kristy, and our 5 furbabies who are our entire world! 

Photography has always been in the back of my mind for years, but it wasn't until February 2016 when I decided to pick up a camera and see where this could take me. Later that year, I flew up to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a photography workshop that completely changed my outlook for this industry in the best way possible. I found that this was my passion in life and I felt like I found the missing piece to my puzzle (that's really the only way I can explain it haha!). Several months later, Michelle Nakasone Photography was born, and I've been loving every single second of this journey.

I absolutely love being able to capture those sweet, fun, candid moments for you to look back on for years to come. Whether it's a couple, family, or a little one on the way, they each have a story of their own...one that I'm able to see unfold right before my very eyes. The vision you want to capture during your photoshoot becomes my vision, and together we'll turn that into a beautiful reality.
